Featured Resource: Genetic Genealogy Assistance for Iranians

With the lack of accessible records, DNA is an important tool in Iranian genealogy. Thankfully, there is now a genetic genealogist specifically offering her services to those of Iranian descent free of charge: Aurora Molitoris.

Aurora has a graduate certificate in forensic genetic genealogy from the University of New Haven and continues to receive genealogy training. Importantly, she is Iranian and has experience navigating the unique obstacles of Iranian genealogy.

She can assist those of Iranian descent by sorting DNA matches, helping search for unknown relative matches, building family trees, sorting out endogamous and polygamous relationships, and helping adoptees looking for biological parents.

If you think you can benefit from Aurora’s advice, please reach out to her by filling out this contact form.
